Pickle Pro opens first retail store at its East Naples plant

Pickle Pro has opened a retail store at its manufacturing plant in East Naples — and it’s a smashing hit.
The store, selling paddles, balls and other pickleball accessories, opened about four weeks ago. Although small, it already accounts for a quarter of the company’s sales.
Owner Todd Pree, who had been reluctant to add the store, said it has far exceeded his expectations.
“I’m shocked because this is not a retail location,” he said. “We’re not easy to find.”
The business — at 3527 Plover Ave. — is tucked inside the White Lake Corporate Park near Collier Boulevard, just east of Interstate 75. It’s surrounded by other manufacturing plants and warehouses that don’t draw many, if any, shoppers.
